The lightbar looks clean the way you installed it.

Is there still some room for air to get around it?

How do you switch it on/off? Also, can you post some pics showing the mounting points?

It has at least 4 inches on either side. Due to the length of the brackets it allows air flow above it. Maybe 3/4 inch space there. I will add some more pics today. That is a $53 lightbar from Ebay that came with the switch and relay

This is a 22 inch long bar. I'm not real proud of the hardware I used. Or the fact it is visible. The bolts are actually under the the top grill. Didn't have to drill or remove the grill tho. U see watch there is a small square hole already in the metal bumper. I took a screwdriver and heated and bent it 90 degrees. Got it red hot and melted thru the plastic out bumper. Now I had a thru hole to hang my bolts. Don't think I'm going to modify or even reinstall the lower grill at all.

A grommet over that washer and possibly countersunk hardware would help there. I like the placement of the light bar.
