Hello all, first time posting. I have a 2007 H3 Hummer and would like to level it. I'm putting Goodyear Duratrac P285 tires on it and have been trying to find out the best way to raise the front end. I've seen kits and I've seen forums on cranking the torsion bolts. What's the best way to raise the front end and maintain a good ride? Also, if I crank on the torsion bolts, do I need to change the front shocks? Thanks

 

Do a search here and you'll find that a simple cranking of the torsion bars is the easiet and best method. All specs and instructions are found on those threads as well.

You will find what you need if you use the search forum feature and type something like, raise torsion bars. There is a how-to right at the top with pics and everything. Give it a shot.

No kits!
New shocks are not necessary.
An alignment after cranking the torsion bars is though.

BTW, the 285/75R16 Duratracs fit just fine without any leveling so you don't have to do anything if you don't want to.
