Default Leveled Out

After reading many posts from others doing it, I've finally decided to level out my Hummer. and gotta say that I'm glad I did it. I was needing to replace the tires so I put new rims and leveled it all at the same time.

Ballistic Jester Rims with Nitto Terra Grappler 285/70/17 tires. It still rides pretty smooth, but not as Cadillac smooth as it did with the highway tires. and I'm not complaining one bit. My wife thought I had installed a lift kit when she first saw it.

Good looking rig

I'm not that big on the blacked out look on everything (rims included) but yours looks really good with this combination

Like the rims on yours along with the red trim --- Complements the H3 really well

Thanks. I was torn between the chrome rims and these and thought the black actually looked a bit better with the red. and I like to take it offroad a bit. I was worried more about damaging the chrome and keeping them clean.

Default Great wheels

eflower, what is the width of those Jester wheels? I take it they're 17", but what is the width? They look like they stick out a bit from the fenders too, or is that an optical illusion from the photo?

Great lookin' rig by the way.

They are 17x9 with a 12mm offset. They do stick out more from the fenders than the stock wheels. But that may be because I've gone with a bit wider tire, 285/70/17. Was supposed to go to the Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs today, but we've had to put it off till next Saturday.

The biggest thing I've noticed with leveling the Hummer is I can see out the back a bit better and I can actually see a stoplight now without crouching down.
