My 07 died at 145k. All was running fine up to the point where a valve spring decided to break, sending the valve into cylinder 4 and bits ended up in the adjacent cylinders. She gave no warnings and no codes even after it died.

I ended up repowering it for $5k and have the transmission rebuilt for $2k.

2006 H3 - 176,000 and I think it still has the original engine and transmission. Seems to have a permanent TPMS light on though......

210000 miles on my 2003. Engine stock. Tranny rebuilt once. Tcase and pumpkins stock. Runs like a top. When listening to the engine purr, smog tech said "i guess its ready for another 200k huh?" haha Run synthetic and synthetic gear oil only in my Tcase. They will last forever. Tranny not so much.

2003 H3? Either a typo or in the wrong thread.
