It is to show how tough the led bars are. The bars have a IP rating of IP68

WOW, IP of 68. Thanks!

They should have submersed that sucker in 1 meter deep water while illuminated with a rock on top of it holding it down for the advertisement. Now that would be impressive and sell parts!
