If I go over my mileage on my lease and I buy out the lease at the end of the term am I still dinged for the mileage?

If you buy out the lease, you do not have to pay for the extra mileage. That's what I'm going to end up doing. It's in the purchase agreement on the paperwork from when you bought it. At least that's my GMAC SmartLease agreement.

 

if you buy the car at lease end you can burn it in your driveway and not have to pay a penalty
