Knock sensors and what else

I have to replace the knock sensors in my 05 H2. I've cleared the codes too many times and now just need to get it done.

Since the intake has to be pulled, what else would you replace or upgrade while doing so? I think I'm going to pull the hood off to make it easier.

Just yesterday i had this code pop up on my H2 . I would replace Anything you see that may be about to give up around that area since you are going to take it a part ...

IMHO, knock sensors are fairly straight forward.
Just put some RTV on the "caps" when you re-install those to keep water, etc.

LS2/3 heads, port and polish everything, larger valves, upgraded roller rockers, custom ground cam, LT headers, FAST intake mani, etc.....

Obviously I'm joking. Unless you're having other issues I wouldn't worry about upgrading anything else.

Don't forget the updated GM harness, more then likely yours will disintegrate when you try and get them off the sensors. The dealers have the harness & sensors in stock.

I have done knock sensors/harness replacement twice on H2's no need to pull the hood. Don't forget new intake gaskets and carb & brake cleaner to hose out the intake.

I have an 04 h2 with a bad knock sensor. Whats the cost of having them replaced?
