Default Key fob programming?

My hummer didn't have any remote locking key fobs, so I ordered some and then it dawned on me that there aren't so many 'hummer' dealers around in the local area.

Can I go to any GM dealer to get the remotes programmed and synced with my truck?

I did do a search, nothing too specific.

Appreciate any help.

My local Chevy dealer told me it was going to cost $75 to program 2 fobs.
I told him to bite my crank

Call around. In the same area, I have found rates differ from $37 to $50.
