Have a question on K&N exhaust if anyone can help me out, on the website, says not legal in california, I live in california, would this void my factory warranty? Would i be able to past a smog test. I'm looking for extra horsepower, but is this really worth it, and last question, how does it sound, I have a magnaflow cat back, dont want it to sound like sports car, thanks for any input on this, sorry if I sound alittle clueless, but new at all this.

K&N do not make exhaust they make filters and it will not void you warranty but you will not pass you state emission

I would say get the intake kit, and not just the filter. I really don't believe adding just the filter alone will net you any horsepower gains.

I agree with Gary...I didn't think intakes are illegal in Cali....Well then, save the factory set up and if you have to get inspected or the dealer is against it..jut put back on the old filter assy when needed..
