Default K&N Cold Air Intake Part Number 63-1095 2006 H3

Guys an gals,

I just got this K&N instake system in today, it doesn't fit my 2007. The Mass Air Sensor assembly is different on the 06 and 07 so the sensor won't bolt up onto the plastiic tube.

I thought this would work on both the 3.5L and 3.7L. I could never find where anyone said it wouldn't work until a few days ago when they called K&N about it.. I had ordered mine a few days before that.

I opened the box today, unpacked everything, I mounted the sealer strips around the air dam and bolted the L bracket to the air dam. Then I was looking at the Mass Air Sensor after I disconnected the resonator box and stock intake and noticed the sensor mounting bracket didn't look right for the new black K&N intake tube.

My Mass Air Sensor is too big to fit in the hole on the inake tube and of course the mounting bracket won't work either as it's smaller. The sensor on the 3.7 won't even go in the hole on the 06 style intake.

Problem is, K&N doesn't even have a tube for the 3.7L so I am screwed. I don't know if the vendor will take it back as I have opened it up and put the weatherstripping on the air dam. And even if he will I'll have to pay shipping and a 15% restock fee... bummer.

So, I have it for sale, if you would like it, it's really brand new except for the things mentioned. The filter and tube were never even mounted. Just the air dam and took it off after I saw the Air sensor problem on the tube.

I paid $210 shipped. I have all the paperwork and everything with the unit including assembly directions, K&N decals, etc. It's in perfect unused condition other than the weatherstripping on the air dam.

If you want a K&N COld Air Intake for your 06 Hummer, let me know I'll make a fair deal, if I don't get any bites, it's going on ebay.

Thanks,

Raymond

Please PM me if interested.

The K&N is still available, will ship it to your door for $175.00

YOU WON'T FIND A BETTER DEAL PERIOD! IT'S FRIKKIN BRAND NEW, NEVER RAN. I EVEN PUT THE RUBBER STRIPPING AROUND THE AIR DAM AND THAT'S THE HARDEST PART!

THIS IS THE BEST COLD AIR INTAKE FOR THE 3.5L H3... Dyno is about 16HP boost.

I'd absolutely be buying it, if I didn't have an '07 H3 myself.

I did not sell it, I ended up cutting the plastic tube and MADE IT FIT MY 07. I removed the resonator box and stock accordian tubing and used the K&N plastic tube up to the stock breather box. I have a K&N filter inside the stock breather box. I did not use the Air Dam.

I still have the Air Dam and the coned filter if anyone needs one or the other, make a fair deal on it.
