Default Just want to say thanks.

I've recently had some issues with my 06 h3. Took it to
A local shop and their quote was just stupid. Turned out my thermostat was shot. I purchased thermostat at local auto zone and with the help of this forum got the job done myself. After some busted knuckles and high blood pressure the truck is running great. With the money I saved I rewarded myself with a air doc intake and a PCM for less tune. Thanks again.

Great job.
The more you do your own work, the more you learn.
And the more you learn about these things then the less likely you will be taken by some mechanic for stupid money to fix something easy.

Cool, glad we all could help.

When I do those jobs I alleviate high blood pressure by practice swearing.

That is the formula, swearing and beer. You have to determine the right proportion for each.

Yea I defiantly went through some beverages. The worst part was the hose clamps in the lower hose. So when I finally did get them off I switched to a normal hose clamp that tightens with a screw. Should have my air doc on Monday and PCM sent off at the same time Im excited to feel a little pep in its step.

Diabilto-
It's also nice to hear a thanks.
Many will ask for help and get it on here and never return to tell us how it went and if it worked.
Thanks to you.

I would also like to thank all the people who share their knowledge. Any time I have troubles with my H3, this is the first site that I go to. Thanks again!
