Well I have been back in the sand for awhile the Christmas break was great but boy things have heated up over here. Of course I can not go into detail but parts Baghdad have turned into what they were like in the beginning. Worst of all in the areas I mainly conduct missions lol. Nervous, I would have to say yes the first time in the 2 years here, but being the spiritual man I am I know I will come through it alright. Because of the increase in everything I have been limited to my net time from the few ME hours I use to have to just minutes. I hope everyones doing good and had a great last few months. I actually will be going home again soon for another break and just in time. Well I figured I would give you guys a few new pics. The Army has changed General Order #1 to no photography devices off the bases. I mean soldiers have only been taking pics of routes and videos since this thing happenned, a little late to crack down and worry about OPSEC now plus how would they really know the dates it was taken. Anyways talk to you all some more soon. The last pic is the famous ROUTE IRISH that will never be a safe road/highway.

I can't answer for popo, but when I was there they did that to hide who they are. If the wrong people knew they were doing that their families and homes would get attacked.

RHILL is correct, in some areas the bad guys out number the good so the ones that work with us Iraqi Army & Police have to hide who they are so while they are working thier families arent killed and so they are not hunted down and killed. Most wear plain clothes to work and then change when they get there and slap on a mask. It all depends on how badly infested your area is with bad guys. I say bad guys because these days we are fighting many different branched off groups not just ol Al Qaeda.
