Well , guys I finally bought my H3t. I had two h3 s 06+07 over the years and have enjoyed this site. I still have the 07 h3. Anyway I found a 09 H3t at salvage auction in Ct. Just over 100k , 5 cyl with adventure and luxury package chrome , leather , homelink , has tow package but no rear camera. Oh ya truck also has black diamond back cover . I will post pics when I can. I was hoping maybe the original owner may have been a member here . Anyway what name brand rain guards have you guys used , and do you think I can just add the camera to the rear bumper my rear view mirror does have the 16 pin connector. Let me know thanks.

 

I just put a back-up camera on my wife's H3T mounted in the bumper. I purchased an older AVT-280BT head unit for the display however. You think your mirror has a display built into already?

 

Unfortunately it does not. I checked my rear view camera part # 15269045 . Everything but the rear camera display. I'm probably going to put an after market double din in with a camera. I would like to put a Camera that looks like the stock gm one and I liked the location above the hitch also. As for now I'm just happy that I was able to aquire a h3t with adventure & leather. If anyone knows of a camera that looks like stock let me know.

 

There are a few square bodied cameras that look more like the factory Hummer cameras. I went with this one though as it is pretty small and was easy to package. Plus you can aim it. I would buy it again.
