Smile Just bought a 09 H3, CAUTION: Chrome ahead!

Just got this 09 H3 Base (wifey's ride)...gotta start by removing all the shinny chrome and sell the awful rims.

nice!,welcome, AND i agree with the wheels and chrome. i like a little as a reminder of the good old days when you could ident a car a quarter mile away.
i tell new h3 drivers to be aware of the driver "a" pillar. giant blind spot that is not there on other cars you drive.
mine hid a small tree from me when turning left, scraped off my mirror. tell your wife to practice that move!

the h3 lookse better with fat tires

The prior owner sure pissed away good $$ on chrome crap, and those are about the ugliest wheels I can imagine.

You might be able to pay a scrap yard to take those rims.

Based upon the 2 in your drive, I am confident you will have this one looking real good eventually.

Somewhere (as hard as this may be to believe) there is someone who thinks those rims are "awesome". While you are changing the rims, some new shoes would be a really good idea as well.

I will be replacing these bling rims with (5) 315/75/16 BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 on oem rims.

Nice Rides Citiboy! The new wheels and tires will help! I really like the running lights. Do you or anyone know if you can get the running lights for any H3? Is this an dealer/OEM part only? Or do we have some good aftermarket options?

Those lights were an option and were also sold by the GM parts houses.
They are no longer available from any factory or dealer sources. They show up on ebay sometimes for big money.

Be careful of buying used "takeoffs". Some of the fasteners are left behind permanently mounted in the former vehicle and they are impossible to find by themselves.

There are NO aftermarket versions of this either. Some people have mounted individual lights up there with good results.
