No, Dennis, I wasn't in Norway yet, my trip is planned in december for Christmas .

I send the H3 to the dealership for the AVIC modifications. Thus, I am just waiting to have it back and to make you cry with envy when you will see the pics.

they are also going to polish it using a new process which add a very thin teflon coat to the paint protecting it from pollution and small scratches so please keep your sunglasses ready!![8D]

 

By the way, Dennis, I have decided to drive to Norway, just for the fun of it and to fine out the H. capabilities on ice and snow.
do you think I have to do some preparation on the H. for my trip.

I will drive abt 4000km and the wheather up there will be very cold (down to -30c°) with a lot of snow and icy roads.

any special advise??

I think since you already have it at the dealer, you should probably get the engine block heater installed if they have it. If the temp's are THAT low, you definitely want one of those. You also should change your windshield washer fluid with some that doesn't freeze. Bring some blankets just in case you get stuck, maybe some beef jerky for nurishment, and some kool-aid. OK I have no idea where I'm going with this, as usual!
