Default It's official!!!

It's official guys. Purchased my 2003 hummer H2 yesterday. After a 4 hour ride home from NJ to RI I'm in love. One of the smoothest rides I've had in a long time. I'm so excited to tear into it.

Congrats! Nice looking ride! Mine is the same color but I de-chromed mine. Neat to see a picture of what I originally fell in love with. Welcome aboard!

Thanks guys. I'm defiantly going to start de-chroming. It's a cool feeling to watch you guys talk about your sweet Hummers.... Now I can actually relate.

Not sure is the below link will work but if you visit my profile page I have a few pictures of my de-chroming project. Since then, I also blackened the roof rack rails. You will love your H2!

Yeah, you're stuck now because if you ever get rid of it you'll regret it. I meet too many people that tell me they had one but got rid of it and they hate themselves for it. In fact I've never met anyone that said they got rid of one and didn't regret it. There are two topics people bring up when they talk to Hummer owners. 1. "What kinda mileage you get?"....always at a gas station. 2. "I had one one time...Regret gittin' rid of that"....usually at a bar.

That is so true. Even when I was searching for my Hummer the first thing people would say was "Dude, they waste so much gas!!" But After explaining my Expedition only gets 10MPG (due to a problematic 5.4 triton engine) and the H2 gets around 12MPG they seem to change their tune. Taking them for a ride in it seals the deal as well.

WELCOME!!! Where you located?? Glad you bought the 2003. I bought a 2004 BLACK with 1 owner, 38,000 miles for 21, 950 dollars and some change. I have since did the following.

Pioneer 930BT
Alpine Type R mids and tweets
Alpine PDX amps
TWO 12 in JLW6 Stealth boxes mounted in the wheel well cargo trays.
About to add two more JLW6 12's
Custom bent exhaust from the manifolds back with x pipe and open flow mufflers. (cheaper than the borla and corsa crap and WAY better installation with BLACK pipes straight out the back)
All windows 5 percent tinted, windshield 20 percent
New TIS DROPSTARS (Blacked out) with AT tires
Back up cams
Viper 1 mile remote start and alarm system
Chameleon head rest LED monitors
Cool air intake (NON K and N)
Researching Supercharger package
Changing out back seats to buckets
Re upholstering ALL seats to custom black with custom embroidery
Installing new 2009 dash and front door panels
195 DB train horn as well (nicknamed BEAST)
