Someone sent me a link to this and I thought I would share it. It looks like a pretty cool, versitile little trailer. I know most here don't take trailers on trips but for people with families it may be useful.

Cool always has a drawback and that is the $8000.00 dollar price tag!!!!!!

 

Too much money for that thing, looks like it would take forever to set the tent up. I suppose it is a good option for people with small cars that can't pack all their camping gear in their econobo. I built one to take off road with the 3.

 

$8000 Holy crap lol I hadn't looked that far. That money could build one hell of a trailer.

I have some old ones somewhere, been waiting for the weather to turn so I can get it out and get it cleaned up. Picked up some of those bed boxes for the 3T for cheap so added those on too.
Nothing overly fancy but gets the job done. Top is on 400lb struts so it folds right on over. One of these days I want to get the arb roof tent to slap on it.


Even with the wheels and tires it was still under 3k and fun to build. Course now I want to sell it and build something new, but its always that way.

 

I love it, towards the end of the video at the gas station with.. you know "the other guys busted up trailer" oh boy!!!!

 

oh yes and the $1000 shipping !!!

 

Probably takes them an hour to stop laughing every time someone orders one.

 

That's a lot of cash for what you get it seems. I managed to find a used Conqueror Commander down in Tampa FL Commander - The Original Off-Road Caravan for 4k, just had to replace a few small items due to wear and tear and its good to go. total investment was right at $5100.

I typically pull it with my H2 but pulls nicely with the H3 too
