is becoming a royal pain in the a$$, ican't disable it anymore. i'm not interested in advertising popups when i'm reading someone's post just because it has some keywords in it.

 

If you are runningMS windows and Internet explorer, do the following.

1. Goto theStart button and select "Run"
2. Type in the following : c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS and click the OK button.
3. If it asks what program to open this file with choose Notepad and hit OK.
4. On the last line of the Hosts file, add the following: 127.0.0.1 autoforumuniverse.us.intellitxt.com
5. Select "Save" from the File menu.
6. Close Notepad, and all windows running IE.
7. The next time you visit HF, no more intellitxt popups.

 

It was one of the first things I did when I came to this forum. I hate it. HATE IT!! HATTTTEEESSSSSSS IIIIITTTT!!!!

you used to be able to disable it from the popup, it was much easier that way. i hate technology. gimme a stick and some dirt and i'm happy . . . . . [8D]
