Injector cleaner?
Does anyone here put some sort of fuel additive in their H3 fuel tank?
I had my last 4.3 GMC with 40K miles on it need new injectors, and I don't want that to happen to the H3.
If you do use an additive, what kind.
If not to clean or lube the injectors what do you put in the tanl and for what reason.
Thanks

GM recommends no additives. My last GMC had 150K on it when I sold it and the injectors never were an issue.
I did use gumout occaisionally, and a bottle of two of deicer/heat fuel additive because it sat outside, like my 3, all the time? I cannot say that it made a difference, but I did use it once in a while? Had to replace the EGR valve 3 times (first one under warranty) because of carbon build up fowling out the actuator.

Thanks DocOlds.GM recommends nothing. Like I said, my 2002 with under 40K miles needed new injectors.
I did not use any additive.Maybe I should have.
I'll leave this one alone for now.
