INFO needed. :)
Hello to all. This it's my first post, and I'm gonna try to make it a good one. I hope
I'm not a hummer owner YET. But I was looking at this magnificent beast. A 2006 h2 suv. Now I wanna get it but sigh. The wife it's asking me all types of question, witch I can't answer her. So I come in here with hopes to get answers.
I live in NJ so I guess some of my Q would be to any owner residing here.
1-how much it's the full coverage of the insurance (aprox) I need everyone it's different but i'm looking for and avg.
Since this will be our only vehicle we will drive it a lot, with that in mind:
2-how much $ wise does it take to fill up and how often
3- what's the upkeep of the vehicle ?
I think that should doit. With that I can argue my case to her about buying my H2
Thanks to all.

I talked to an H2 owner at the dealership and he said he gets 10 mile to the gallon and he isn't towing anything. Insurance tends to be low cause it's about impossible to get hurt in one. I want an H2 (currently have an H3) but I would never use the H2 as an only car. They are not easy to drive because of the size and gas will kill you. But hey, that is just me.

I got 10.4 mpg on mostly city driving. I would get around 14 mpg on the freeway. The H2 rides and drives like a dream. I loved driving the truck. Don't remember my insurance costs exactly but it wasn't bad, around $800.00 per year. Maintenance was minimal. I got 50,000 miles out of the OEM set of tires and was still on the first set of brakes. Repairs consisted of replacing the waterpump in the first 50K and that was it. Overall it was one of the best vehicles I have ever owned.

Guys I got a family of 5 and I have to go with a big suv or a minivan. And I'm not a van person. I drove my friend from PA H2 and it drove wonderfully,
I been reading in here and else where. About things u can do to make the hummer have a better MPG like some one getting 14MPG city. Using a dyno on the engine pc.
Pluss most of my driving it's gonna be highway only rarely will it be under heavy traffic or lights. Unless i visit NYC or Philly
