Impressed with towing ability
had an emergency (boat sank) and needed to tow my boat home from across the island (52 miles). Total weight is about 8200lbs including the trailer,, burned a hella lotta gas but rode pretty smooth, ate 1/2 tank towing 50 miles[:@]but otherwise was pretty uneventful,,, and the looks gotten from the guys in the H2's was priceless.. will post some pics when i hook up the boat again to tow it back.

RE: Impressed with towing ability
he shouldn't of had any problems.....I;m sure he wasn't going 70 mph. As long as he kept the speed under control and it wasn't any huge inclines then there shouldn't be any problems at all. an 8000lb trailer is a rolling weight...once it gets going it doesn't put the motor under much more load than if it was 4000 lbs. Hell on a flat ground I can hook up a manual dolly to my trailer and pull it around my driveway with only my brother to help...and it weighs over 4000 lbs.

thats why god invented trailer brakesa boat weighing in at 8000 lbs would have to have surge brakes....if they work you won't even know you're towing anything when stopping...come on bro..you tow a camper, you know all this[8D]Did you get a lil too much from the wifey on your trip...your not thinking clearly
