I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this but please check it out!

On October 1st a subcommittee in the House of Representatives will be meeting to consider the Red Rock Wilderness Act of 2009. This Act would designate much of Utah as "wilderness" and as such forever prevent you, your family, your friends.... flat out everyone, from ever wheeling there again. For example this act would prohibit wheeling in Moab.

and take a few moments to complete the form requesting your state representative oppose H.R. 1925. It is VERY EASY to do and almost completely automatic.

 

Thanks for posting. It's impossible to keep up with all the land use issues around the country, but Moab is a special place that I wheel several times a year. I sent an email to my representative and hope everyone else does too.
