Mostly cool people over there....but a few are total jack-offs that think they know all....when they know NOTHING.

here's my favorite....the h2 is a terrible out of the box off road truck...it's nothing more than an escalade because it's built on the same frame....Some people just have no friggen clue.

 

That sucks. At least coming from you it's something more technical than something that would come out of my mouth, even if some of them don't understand that. It is hard to change someone's mindset though. A lot of people think that any SUV is a soccer mom car regardless of what people use them for. I think with the boom of the Yukons, Expeditions, 4Runners and many others in the late 90's gave a lot of people that feeling. It was a trend that with high gas has seemed to end and it seems like the station wagons are taking over again. Amazing how cycles work. I've kind of rambled on but what I was getting at is that it will just take time. A few years from now I'm sure people will start on another thing to hate.

 

Impy I don't know how you do it. I can only take so much ignorance in a day and then I've had it.

 

gotta consider the source. what would anyone on a streetglow forum know about offroad capabilities (other the 'oh great one')? i'm still surprised at the shock of hummer owners when people say what a lousy offroad vehicle it is, regardless of the model. it's been going on for years and unless someone has witnessed one off road they'll never become educated. i just agree with them and move on my way - besides, some of the groceries i just piled in the back need to get home before they go bad and my kid is late for soccer practice . . . . .
