Would you buy another h3 or something different?

I know this is a hummer forum but lets be honest here.

I honestly don't know what I would get, Gm's supposed to be releasing a new twin turbo diesel next year in their 1 ton trucks...I would need to test drive one of those before I made up my mind.

I would stick with the same H3. It was not a matter of price when I chose the H3, it was a matter of practicality and styling.

I'll be getting another H3 when I get close to the warranty running out. I will reinstall the stock 285 tires and wheels I have sitting around and sell the 06, buy an 07 or 08 and put my other set of 315's/fact. wheels on the new one. With the 315's filling in the wheel wells (plus they raise the H3 another 1" which is noticeable, or 2" over the stock suspension H3) this is a lot better looking and better proportioned vehicle than the H2.I am still amazed at how solid and quiet it rides besides how it handles on some of the very rough AZ off roads.
I would be considering the FJ if it did not have such a cheap plastic interior and a plain ugly exterior.
I really am amazed at how the 315's change the look of the H3 -a very big change making it look very heavy duty, very truck like, and very serious looking. There just is no better looking off road vehicle out there, - yet.

 

by the time your warrenty is up I'm pretty sure you'll be in need of new 35's too
