I've read this thread twice now trying to make heads or tail of it all. The title was "Idiots in hybrids", when in truth it had nothing to do with the car or the liberals or conservatives or enven some peoples politics of the environment. It had to do with two people who (by the opinions of us on this thread) should not or can not drive a motor vehicle. I hate to tell ya, but If you outlaw all the hybrid, electric, hydrogen or any other eco friendly cars you WILL still have a$$holes on the road. Its just that simple.

 

We talk about idiots in hybrids and I am looking at an ad for Toyota Prius Dealers on the Hummer site. Lets not give them to much crap if they are paying advertising dollars which should help keep this site running.

 

It doesnt matter who ya are..at one time or another you end up meeting someone who will be an idiot on the road...
Not only do you have to drive for yourself you have to drive and be aware of your surroundings...To each their own in what they drive..I currently have a 2006 Dodge Charger,2001 Dodge Dakota Sport,1999 Chevy Silverado 4x4,Soon a 2007 H3 and last but not least "The Money Pit" its a 1984 GMC 4x4 with a 9'lift and 38's....So see just enjoy your passion lifes to short.....hmm maybe I can post a few pics..if I can figure out how to make them smaller..[8D].

For the record, hybrids are NOT eco friendly. They just use less fuel on the road.

Three thoughts:

1. We will just have to respectfully agree that we dissagree on this point.

2. I really do not care. I don't own one and I do not want to own one at this time.

3. You don't have to own a hybrid to drive like an idiot (which was the point I was making).

 

but your disagreeing with a FACT...Hybrids will destroy the envirnment when the time comes to dispose of them ... this has been proven by many experts over the years. Tree huggers are too damn blind to see past mpg rating. This is not even debatable, it is proven fact that the materials used in hybrids (mainly Nickel) is TERRIBLE for the envirnment!! Wow..you used bold print...guess I should shut up nowObviously you don't know me. Your point # 1 is the biggest cop-out of all cop outs and I hate when people use it on a message board...we'll have to agree to disagree...that means two things:

1...I made my point and don't want to argue with anyone about it so I wrote we'll have to agree to disagree so that anyone that does argue with my point will look lke the idiot...and not me.

2. I know nothing of what I am argueing about so by saying we'll have to agree to disagree the discussion will hopefully end before I am backed into a corner and called out for talking out my azz.
