Obviously I'm not around too much these days. Instead of writing a book about it, I just want to know what you guys want to do.

Do you want me to stay as an Admin or give up the title? I honestly don't have the ambition and/or time to be here too much these days. I'm burned out with alot of things. Jeremy could even tell I'm not the same when we wereat the park. Being on vacation for almost 2 weeks allowed me to focus more on other things. No point in having an Admin that isn't here very much.

 

Mike, I have no issues with you or the other Mike staying on as Admins. But I do feel that we need another one that can check in a little more. I was thinking the other night about nominating Muddy to be an Admin and see what everyone thinks. I chose Muddy because he knows the ins and outs of the place and I believe he has the most seniority out of all of us. IDK, what do you all think?

If not Muddy, somebody needs to be appointed. It's nothing against either Mike, but they both have a lot of "real life" things going on that don't permit them to come to the site as much as they would like or maybe should.

 

I agree Rich. I even suggested in another thread the other day that Muddy needed ban power. We need an admin that visits the site a little more regularly. I am fine with you guys being admins also but we need someone that stops by everyday. We all have things come up that demand our attention and/or busy periods so a little more coverage would be better.

 

Nothing against Muddy but he does seem to fly off the handle a little quick. Usually his insticts are correct but we wouldn't want to have him chase everyone away.
I'll be waiting for a nasty reply from him.

 

LMAO. Well only you could get away with saying that.It is not like Impy hasn't had a bad day or two either.Someone else needs to be an admin and Muddy has my vote if he will do it.

 

I'm going to send Patrick a link to this thread. Ultimately it's his decision on adding another Admin. I have no problem with what you guys decide. My job is becoming more demanding and it's either work long days or get bitched at for not doing it. I have to focus more on job hunting at home and projects here at work. I just can't focus with being on here all the time. That's probably why my motivation is going down the hole. I don't know.

But that's not the point. Since you are all more active then I, I think you should all decide what you'd like to do or see and we can make some decisions based on that.

 

I'm not sure I'm going to get away with that comment, but I do have to install molding in a few rooms in hishouse Friday.

I don't care who does the job as long as someone is here daily... reading these threads about our concerns... and acting one way or another.... otherwise why are we here?

and I might not be the one for the job... but I've been there and I've done that... I've banned more trolls and dumb mother****ers than this board has members...

With that said I personally would pick Chris to do the job... and I even said that before....

 

I'm leaving my vote for Muddy on the table, but if you don't want it I have no problem with Chris either. The main reason I stated Stan was that he is here daily. Chris does stop in often, but how often?

At a minimum I think that the Admins/Mods should have a personal email list for eachother. Just in case the site goes down and we can't PM or if you are an admin something is going on that we need to reach you fairly fast. Just an idea. If we can't be trusted with eachothers personal emails we probably really shouldn't be part of the team, should we?

I&nbsp\\;too have experience on a message board with 50k+ members..&nbsp\\; I think we do need a little more "protection"..
As far as us having each others personal email addresses, I'm all for that too! Especially since we have had the problems lately.
