I saw a home-made jobby a while back that looked damn good. I wish I had taken a pic of it, but who knew.

Let me see if I can describe it......

It was a forward leaning rig. Front feet mounted with the bolts in the "water bowls" and the back feet mounted in the
forward most point in the roof rails. It stood maybe 4 inches off the roof and was made of 1 inch OD tubing he
bent with a cheapie pipe bender (filled the tubes with sand to avoid that crimping **** on tight bends). Then he used
some flat steel with "punched holes" to tie the front and back legs together......Looked store bought......Had 4 KC
Rally lights on top and a couple of little egress lights on the side....
