So i just bought a 2007 H3 and it only came with 1 key.
Can i get a H3 key off of Amazon, have it cut, and it work? or will it need to be programed? If it needs to be programed, can i do it myself or will i need to take it to a GM dealer.

 

key is a piece of metal, ace hdwe cuts them for cheap, get 2, test b4 you leave the lot!

i keep 1 in wallet.

 

H3 keys don't have any electronics to have programmed. Just a key.

 

Thanks guys, cheap key from ebay did the trick, now how to program the remote? anyone know how, or did have to take it to a dealer?

 

dealer programmes, maybe 25, or? free?

 

Idk about the key as I have extra but I got an extra remote and couldn't program it myself following instructions I found online. Had to take it in - $45 for them to do it. Rip off if you ask me.
