Default Husky Mud Flaps...

Hello...

Just wondered if anyone has purchased the Husky Front Mud Flaps? I want something that will protect the side and rear fenders from all the mud spray and rock dings. From what it sounds like the OEM product does little to protect - true/false? Are these a universal install, or molded to fit the H3? I don't want something that looks like crap... Thanks in advance... Aaron

Yes, I have them intalled on the front. They are WAY better at protecting the sides of the H3 than the OEM. I would say go for it!

Even with the large Husky front mad flaps the rear fender will still get covered with mud and hit by stones. They do help keep most of the door clean . They are a custom fit just for the H3 and look factory.

Glad to see this post. I have seen them on ebay and they cost more than the OEM mudflaps. The main reason for picking them up would be to keep some mud and road spray off the truck. If the Husky's are bigger, then that is what I want since I am the official Hummer Washer.

I've got the Huskeys all the way around as they seemed to have more coverage than the OEMs.

Some of the flaps I have seen say they will NOT work if you have rocker panel protectors installed. I have an 07 H3X. Do I have the protectors? Obviously, I do not know what they are.

johneiner, You do not have the rocker panel protectors on your h3x from the factory. What they are are round bars near the rocker panels (it is a add on you buy) to protect the rockers when offroading. I don't believe you can have tube steps and rocker potection together on the same truck. Steve

Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering about this too. Looks like Husky's will be going on sometime in the future.
