Hey just bought an Alpha two months ago. I have noticed when I accelerate, there is a high pitched humming sound that can be heard. When my foot comes off the pedal, it stops. Also, it doesn't do it all of the time. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

 

High pitched and humming are two different sounds to me?
Other than the obvious that it is a Hummer, there is a pump for the brakes that does hum at times.
High pitched could be the steering rack whining.
or a belt or a belt tensioner or idler pulley.
