Even though I have a Toyota , I dont like the look of the FJ at all. I also don't llike the wwhite roof , but it's supposed to be reminisant of the old time FJ's.

I did see one wheeling and it did pretty damn good , but still think it's butt ugly !!

 

I guess the only thing I can say about the new toyota is that at such a low base price they're selling plenty of them, they're all around.

 

it's misleading. to get a what I wanted it is the same as an H3 but much uglier. it's the new Pacer

 

your right on that but for the same price as a base you could probably get into a base wrangler have a more capable off-road machine and probably have as much interior room also. I'm speculating, I don't know definate numbers but the FJ looks damn small to me.

 

How about the mpg on them?

thats what I found I don't know if thats a base wrangler or a rubi with 33's.

I'd rather get a few mpg less and drive something that 90% of the people won't laugh at me in

 

actually those figures are the i6 which is gone for 2007, don't know anything about the v6 they replaced it with.

the wrangler with the 4 banger in it gets 18/21

 

I think the roofs are bringing back the old days when they made them just like the new mustang ,charger,pt crusier etc
But they only sell because people once they own a toyota they always go back. At my old dealer you whould have to wait hours to get a salesman i was lucky and dealed with the truck manager .
I think they would look better all one color.

I got to see an FJ up close today and I gotta say, it's not that bad............It was a black one and the owner was thinking about painting the roof black also. I would never get one for myself, but if they would do away with the white roof and that fugly front end, I think it would look better. .........They have a lot of ground clearance, but they use a non aggressive car tire. It looked like it was put together cheap, not much quality inside........It's not even in the H3's class.

 

It is a piece of crap, capiche?
