Running wires in to the door is a PITA!

You need to remove the door stop, remove both sides of the molex, drill them out, snake the wire through the rubber loom......

PITA.
EXACTLY.......Dealer install!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Muth site has an installation guide for their signal mirrors.

Yeah i looked at those instructions. I cant really tell if I can get the heated ones without having the heated option from the factory. anyone know? the wiring isnt a problem, I will be running new speaker wires anyway.

although i did read it more closely and you have to use the existing heater wires so it looks like a no go on the heated ones as i do not have heated mirrors from the factory.

Heated mirrors are not available from the factory...but that doesn't mean you cannot hook into your rear defroster. Than you'll have both. I have not done this yet on my H3, but I thought someone on "another" forum had already done this. In fact, I think they were the ones to work with Muth on this.

There is an option from muth, you buy the heated mirrors and the have a separate wiring harness you can hook up. its 339 for the kit including the mirrors on autoanything.com
