Going to get married in Hawaii over the 4th of July and we are gonna try the Hummer adventure where they take you to where "Lost", "Jurassic Park", and others were filmed. We will be in an H2 so this will be new to me. Can't wait to see the H2 climb the hills in Hawaii. Will post some pics when we return. Has anyone done this? Can't wait, just wish I could take the H3 to see what she can do.

 

Yep been on that trail a few times. Hardly any real hills, mostly scenic stuff. You'll definitely have fun!!

No we are not renting but it may be an option. We are there for 8 days and just kinda wanted todo the sight seeing and tourist stuff. If the rentals are reasonable then it mightbe an option. Do they haveH2's and 3's? Have tocheck intoit. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

Congrats. My wife and I went there for our 1 year anniversary and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about going back. I liked it so much I made it a goal to live there one day.

Thanks for all the kind words. I think there might be something else in the works thanks to "inked". Might be getting a rental and trying the hills behind the wheel. Don't know just yet. Either way we can't wait.

 

Wow, I wish I would've known about that possibility when my wife and I were on our honeymoon in Hawaii last year. That sounds awesome, though I was told thata lot of themajestic scenes from Jurassic Park were filmed on Kauai, not Oahu. We did the Helicopter tour, which was awesome, but I would've loved to take a tour in a Hummer. We actually rented a Wrangler on Kauai (they were out of H3's) and did a lot of off-roading/hiking through Waimea Canyon. That was awesome, but we weren't on Oahu long enough to find any offroad trails.

Congrats. And have a GREAT time in Hawaii. They should have both H2's and H3's to rent. They did on both the Big Island and Kauai, so I'm sure Oahu will as well.

And as for moving there someday, my wife and I have seriously talked about going back to find some vacant land to buy that we'll put a house on when we're ready to retire. It was just amazing, every part of it.
