I have a little youth .410 I carry on my place in Texas. No rats...rattlers.

 

lol. I have a field mouse problem since my back field burned Sunday. In warm weather, lots of rattlers. Two years ago, a mountain lion killed a donkey near my place.

 

So, where do you where all of this is taking place?

 

Where do I live? North Central Texas. Around 4 miles from the Red River.

 

Texas is one of the states I want to go to this year. I'm not sure why, but it seems interesting.

 

Come on down! My ancestors came here in 1844 via ox wagons. My great grandmother was born in a wagon coming here. Out of the big cities, there is still plenty of room with few people to get in the way.

 

Well my wife and I are native city Chicago people, but once we moved out to the country, we started really liking it. Now we are looking at campers and houses in the mountains instead of condos and nightclubs. It's amazing how a little change of scenery can make you have a new perspective on things.
