With all of the videos and site pictures of the Hummer HX out there, does anone know if this is real and going into production or are thye just teasing the consumer? Any inside info out there when it will be available? Thanks.

Thanks for the uplink. Now that I have seen several videos and numerous pics over the web, are they going to make this vehicle or not? Getting conflicting information from dealers, etc. - some saying that it will not be ready until 2013!!! Thats why I ask if this is real or not - some say it will take over H3 sales and wondered if they are stalling the launch?

If you remember back when they came out with the H3t concept pictures a couple years back that it had the same futuristic look as the Hx concept so I figure it will be a few years before they sell it to the everyday citizen.

Getting the H4, based on the HX, into production is one of HUMMER's top priorities. The official word from the CEO is "within three years" (http://www.hummerguy.net/hummer-news...uild-h4-and-h5) which seems a little long to me, though he may just trying to throw off the competition.

As for me, give me a diesel.

 

I would buy it but only as originally designed and priced under $45k...Not some watered down, wimped out version... May be difficult to accomplish both.

 

The H4 might go into production, question is where will it be built?
