I'm wanting to put a set of duratracs on my 2007 H3 with the x package. My stock tire size is 265/65r18 and I want to keep the stock rims for now and they don't make the exact size. My options for tires are: 275/65r18, 275/70r18, 295/65r18. Which will fit/ be be the best choice.

 

275/70R18 is the closest match to the original tire on the vehicle but any of the sizes will work. The 275/70R18 is close to the factory Adventure Package size and will fill out the wheel wells a little better. The 295/65R18 is also the same 33" diameter as the stock adventure tire but is wider. This would also be a good upgrade size to as it has a wider profile that looks nice. There are several people running 305/70R16's for the added width over the stock Adventure 285/75R16. So in short, all of them will work good it just depends on what you are going for

 

you can also go to a 325/65 or Nitto makes a 295/70. I run the latter and love them

 

I've been debating between the goodyear duratracs, then cooper, AT3 and st Maxx. Do u guys have any experience with these tires or like other ones? I drive mostly snow and gravel roads.
