Default Hummer H3 - Hankook DynaPro mt rt03 315/75/16

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I spent at least 3-4 days reading forums, reviews, checking out prices, and going nuts about my new tires. At the end, I chose to buy the Hankook DynaPro tires at Pep Boys. They have a sale until March 13 where you buy 4 tires including mounting/balancing etc and you get one free. This is a mail-in rebate and you end up with a VISA credit card for the cost of one tire ($237). I will be using the credit card to buy other stuff for my car and it doesn't have to be at Pep Boys. Because the cost of 5 new tires + installation was a lot of money, the guy at Pep Boys gave me a store card and I will be getting a $75 gift card for my purchase.

Including the gift card and the free tire, this comes up $80 less than getting the tires from DiscountTire.com and having a local place put them on. Not so bad when you don't have to worry about taking the tires some where to get this done.

As far as choosing the Dynapros, I won't go into details, but I think I made the right decision. I think any 35" tire looks better than stock, but these Hankooks look awesome at a total cost of $1175 installed

I never owned a truck before I purchased this vehicle. My previous car was a 2006 Mustang GT, so I was always used to the car making a little bit of noise. With that said, I drove the car on the highway and I didn't think the noise level was an issue. Is it different from the stock tires? YES, but the noise is minimal in my opinion.

Now, I noticed that driving at about 55MPH (w/ the tires...this maybe faster i don't know), I felt a little vibration when i drove over some uneven pavement. The vibration was almost insignificant, but I want to point it out. I didn't want to drive faster than 60MPH and don't ask me why

I was worried about the tires rubbing when I was making turns even though the Pep Boys technician said nothing was rubbing at all.

I'm very happy w/ the new tires. The wife doesn't know anything yet. She only saw the car once. Maybe she won't notice anything

I have the same tires but on 18x9 Offroad wheels. They are a great tire and are very long lasting. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great tire all around with an even better price.
