Default Hummer H3 billet hood panel

I bought this billet hood panel brand new. It sat in its packaging for a couple months in the garage before I was able to install it. When I took it out the box this time I noticed 1 small little pit. and that sure did suck, but by this time there was nothing I could do with paypal, etc. so I installed it and now a couple more months later, this thing has these little pits all over the outside mainly. So I want to sell it, it would be perfect for someone that wants to get it sandblasted, and paint it or have it powder coated.

Selling in the USA for $230 shipped as its heavy.

It does need a little TLC. That looks to be chrome plated steel. Are you positive it's billett aluminum?

They are billet aluminum then chrome plated. Unfortunately most chrome plated products are nothing like they used to be. The chrome is so cheaply done that it will pit. Although there are no rust spots in the pits because it's aluminum. I would complain to the company and demand a refund. It's at least worth a try.

Also, the aluminum billet hood panels weigh around 20 to 22 pounds. How much does yours weigh?

Did you contact the manufacturer and tell them what is happening to it?

Just finally found the company. it was ordered back in September. I just finally was able to get it out the box and install it not that long ago. I doubt they are going to do a thing as its been this long. But, either way....its FOR SALE.
