Default Hummer H2 Exhaust

Anyone out there running the "Flowmaster Exhaust Systems - American Thunder 17376" exhaust on their H2 ? Looks like a nice kit....3" outlet with a single 4" polished tip. I found it online for $450-$500. Any opinions??

Thanks,
Leighton

Default Flowmaster 17376

Well....I just ordered it from Auto Anything. $468.98 total with tax (Free Shipping and 5% off today). I will post when I get it installed and rockin'....the guy at Flowmaster said it isn't too loud (subjective, I know) but will get some noticeable extra horses.

That's a good price. I recently bought a Magnaflow exhaust for my 08 H2 off eBay for $475 shipped. Install was easy. It is not too loud, just a nice rumble. I wouldn't say I got "noticeable" extra horses but, does seem to have a little extra pep.

Default Done!

Installed it tonight with a buddy of mine. Took about 2 hours when all was said and done. Taking out the stock system was the most time consuming. Kit installed super easy....sounds great! Noticed a big difference in sound at idle and when on the gas! Seems "peppy".....might be my imagination though.

Default Flowmaster update?

New to H2 ownership with a 2006 H2. I like the no-drone of the Corsa Touring but $1000+ is not in the budget right now. The Flowmasters seem to be the least expensive and I have had good experience with them on Corvettes. I really want to avoid the droning sound at highway speeds. Do the Flowmasters drone anywhere in the rpm range?

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

I just did a chop-and-swap, seeing as though I can't run duals with my air ride, I just threw a Flowmaster Super 40 in place of the stock muffler.

It sounds virtually identical to the Denali in this vid.

I love it.
