Old thread here I know, but here's a REAL Slant for sale on Ebay.. I know the guy selling it, first offer close to $70 gets it... When I was talking with him the other day he had no less than 3 calls in an hour asking about it.. One guy was bad pissed when he wouldn't take $50K for it and was accusing him of speculating and price gouging since it was way over KBB values.. If you ever come across a REAL slantback for sale at KBB prices, PM me and I can prollyhook you up with a nice finders fee..

FWIW.. Only 39 HMSB's were made.. Of those only 30 are still on the road.. Others either totaled, stolen and shipped overseas, stolen and stripped for parts, I've heard one or two were lost to Katrinadown on the coast.. When you're looking to see if a rig is an original slantback, look at the back.. Real slants have no tail gate, the hatchback door comes down over the back, not just down to it..

 

wish i had the cash for it... the slantback is definately the most aggressive look and most wanted model from the hummer line up! its a shame im going to have to settle for a kit slantback and i cant even afford that yet!!! haha
