Wow that's really beefy! And those 1/4" in overall thickness are the basis for alle frames right? So the 10-12.000lbs frames are the same but got some double layers in crucial parts? And i guess a stronger suspension?

But what about height/width? The super duty frame rail is 240x90x4.5mm, if the basic H1 frame would be something like 200x80x6.3, it would end up pretty much the same in general strenght.

 

Did anyone ever measure those rails, the height and width?

Also: Is it actually true, that the H1 Alpha got the same frame, but made entirely out of stainless steele???? Or is that amyth?

6.3mm thickness is still hell of a lot tho.



Since the 12000lbs version is basically the standart frame with duobled parts, is the 16.000lbs version which got out to some lucky guys beefed up the same way? or is it an entirely new design frame and axlewise like the 21500lbs meritor?

No one here who knows the measurements for the mid section rails on the M998 with a GVW of 10.000 and maybe for comparision the ECV with a GVW of 12.000lbs?
