Has anyone seen these tornado fuel savers? If so has anyone tried one are they worth the money or just a scam.

 

I would say they are the world's biggest scam except that they are so cheap I don't think they qualify. Save your money. You can buy three gallons of gas for what you will pay for that thing. You can also use the search function on this site. This item has been discussed in detail and found to fall somewhere between magnets and magic pixie dust in effectiveness.

 

I know that there is a couple independant tests that on certain vehicles they can do a wee tiny bit in the performance department. I was at a track here in MI in 1994 and some guys were track testing various mods. On a 94 S10 chevy pick up w/ 4.3L V6, it could knock a 10th off quarter mile time consistantly???

However, it did not do anything on the other vehicles they were testing. Invest in a couple gallons of gas like 3hummers suggested, and skip the tornado.

 

I had one on my Ram 1500, looked cool, but worthless.
