Hummer Done?
I was a little bored today and decided to visit our local Hummer dealers in Colorado. I visited two local dealerships and was shocked with what I saw. While visiting these dealers I noticed there is hardly any inventory. Between both dealers they had a total of 15 or so cars. (All varieties). I walked up to the showroom in Colorado Springs and noticed that they closed the Hummer showroom. There was a sign that basically said they moved over to GM. Is this the beginning of the end for this great brand or are they trying to cut costs like the rest of us?
Yeah, pretty much the same story at my dealership. It is a Cadillac/Hummer dealership. All of the Hummers (about twenty) had been rounded up and kept in the corner. Where Hummers used to be is all Cadillac now. The Hummer showroom is still only Hummer with three models on display, but that is all.
Personally, I don't blame the dealerships. They need to showcase what will sell.
