in all seriousness, we're just havin' fun with ya, albeit at your expense. although the bus isn't our sole transportation, i am providing taxi service again since my daughter aerated her car. i even missed a NCHG run last weekend, first one i've missed in 2 years so in a strange, twisted sort of way, i'm going through the exact same thing as you, except it's completely different . . . . .

Don't worry shortbus; I don't take things personal. I get a kick out of it. Actually, after taking an hour last night to re-seat a freakin' front wheel steering knuckle boot I found half way off, I was about to burn the thing. It's amazing how important a little $1 piece of rubber is. My wife didn't understand the importance of it, and I told her "well honey, if this grease comes out of this part, it won't move, and if it doesn't move, turning the wheel will probably break it, which means thefront wheel will fall off when I turn it, and all because this little rubber piece is not wrapped around this little steel piece"

The problem was getting the stupid little metal ring clip to wrap around it without the boot sliding back up the joint again. DOH! PAIN IN THE A&& I tell you!

I still don't think she got it

 

I'm considering converting to a pavement princess as well, but the modifications would be substantial.

First, I'd need to paint it yellow.
Second, install a magnaflow muffler.
Third, get some 37" Toyo tires.
Fourth,Get a black Gobi roofrack with tailgate ladder.
And last, get some Fox shocks!

Then I'll be able to cruise the malls!

To dress it up I may even add a little pinstriping too!

you forgot the H2 body kit mod though . . . .

 

I did think of that, but decided I would keep it as an H3, in case I ever do want to go back to something a little more offroad capable!
