Just got my h3, 06. I have noticed sometimes I get a hum/buzz sound from what seems to be the area where that plastic engine vent cover is on the drivers side. Going to take it in and see whats up if it's not something simple. Anyone experience this?

 

I've experienced the same issue. Took it into the dealership. Well . . . you know the morons @ the dealership. "Could not replicate issue. No fix." Anyhow, the seal on the vent cover becomes loose. Pop that thing off and put some double-sided tape on it. Worked like a champ. Before that, I simply slide a business card between the cracks. Took care of it until it rained.

 

i had the same issue with mine. I insisted it was the cover. Turned out to be the plastic trim on the drivers side windshield. Took it in, dealer replaced ALL my plastic trim under wrnty. They told me it was a common problem and that they replace them often.

Had the same buzz came from my front window we used some black RTV around the rubber and its gone !
