Howdy from a newbie.
Not an owner..yet. Got a lease on a STS that comes due next year and I like to know ahead of time what I am replacing my current vehicle with. Strongly considering the H3 or more likely the H3T.
Family enjoys camping and I want a tough 4x4 for the MI winters...and for occassional off-road fun. Not crazy boulder climbing, but I want to know that I can go where I want...when I want!
Anyway, here to surf and learn.
Cheers,
PS. One initial question...anyone with small children with an H3. Seems like the belt line is very very high. Worried the kids won't be able to see out and thus get bored quick! Kids are 5 and 8 yrs. Can anyone with kids speak to this concern?

RE: Howdy from a newbie.
For the kids, get a Kangaroo seat, or a booster....not a child seat, but one of those that looks sorta like a bucket seat that you put in the back, the
little person sits on it, and then you belt them in. My little guy rides with one, he never complained....yet?
Howdy and welcome.

RE: Howdy from a newbie.
Welcome to the forum and ask all of the questions you want. If you want to make sure you get where you want to go the Hummer is the right truck for you. H3T with the Alpha and Adventure packages should be a killer truck and off road vehicle. Good luck.

RE: Howdy from a newbie.
Thanks for all the "hellos".
I drive the kids alot (work nights so Im the main mode of transport during the day while wife is working...) so I don't want them staring at the door panel. Guess the best thing is to get to the darned Hummer dealership and sit in one! DUH!
Kids will be excited about the Hummer for about a day....
Last few cars....
Cadillac STS (stock..can't wait to get rid of her...was the wifes car and she didn't want to drive anymore...grrr)
Trailblazer SS (wish I still had her...)
Cadillac CTS (mild mods)
Taurus SHO V8(HEAVILY modded...very quick car...)
VW VR6 (mild mods)
Current play car....
1972 'Cuda, 340 4 spd blk/blk....
Current photo (the previous one is from 2007...)
