Howdy fellas
Just a little note to let you guys know I am still alive.
I'm starting year 3 of my divorce.... $20,000 in lawyer fees later we're fighting over the last $256k and the sale of my two H2's.... my tractor, tools, tool boxes....
I still check in, mostly without logging in. I still check the email notifications.
Nothing really new or special to report...
Saw a hardtop H1, but the guy sold it before I could met him...

Signed the paperwork today.... she has 60 days to pay me, or else....
SO... Dave, serious question. I heard a rumor that 1998 is the most desirable H1, next to the Alphas, of course....
Any truth? Would you be willing to give me your opinions, based on the 6000 H1's you have owned?

Stan, many people believe that and personally I agree. 98 is the most advanced pre-TT4 H1. It has the upgraded AC, is easier to BTM and has the power of the later models. #8 cylinder issue is something to be aware of. My old 97 is still going strong with 115K on the block. Most bad blocks blew before 30k miles but not all of them. My 98 engine let go at 80k. Look for one with the heavy block replacement.

No, not nuts if you want a wheeling truck. That is a "well used" truck that he posted up a thread about rolling it on. I have never seen the truck myself. I am sure it is well set up for wheeling and Manny certainly could maintain one as well as anyone. I assume he is selling the truck in reasonable condition, not counting the body damage from hard wheeling. He has had the truck for sale for quite awhile with no takers. Not sure that means anything other than he might be more flexible on the price.
