I just found the forum ,and I live in the midwest (St Louis) area...I am looking at a pristine 06 H-3 with 37000 miles...I have always liked the 3s..and the price is right...is there a reason I should not buy ? I want it for pleasure miles and winter driving..I have three sports cars and a high performance fuel eating truck...so this is to fill a big void... are parts still available ?...please advise...and thanks very much !

 

You cant go wrong. I love the H3's as well. I drive a Porsche as my DD and I love driving my H3 too.

Parts are still available from what I can see. 37k on the clock is great mileage. What options does it have? What do you want it to be able to do? We have 4 H3's in my family - I have a H3 2006 Adventure with a 5 Speed tranny, my dad has a 2006 Luxury and my brother has a 2006 H3 Luxury and just purchased a 2010 H3T last weekend. Thanks guys , I am not exactly sure about which package , however it has the top luggage carrier and black leather interior , and the tunes seem to be adequate , however ,got to check that..I am a big serius /xm fan...gota have it...auto tranny..all differential controls are on the dash...no manual transfer case.
I drove it home yesterday to see if there was room in the garage for it next to my Camaro...it was a shoe in...no sweat.....I wouldnt have thunkit.

I will make a thread where its appropriate asking what is recommended to do to it for economy and performance.
