I don't like secrets and since brodie brought it up this is your thread and you asked I will answer.

The honest truth is that I purchased something from him that I believed was a complete/usable item and what I got was an incomplete/unusable item. I politely informed him that it was missing a part that I would need to make it work. To which he responded that he was only selling the items that I received. I called him out on what I felt were some shady sales practices and told him that I would never buy nor would I ever recommend any of his products ever again and that I would have never expected that from a long time CHO member/sponsor. To which he responded that he was a good guy and didn't like the fact that I insinuated anything differently of him and that he would try to locate the item and send it to me and that it was fine if I never purchased or recommended his merchandise. He found the item shipped it to me. I thanked him. I don't know if he ever received my thanks or apology for being so blunt to with him because he said he put my account on ignore.

I think he is also upset because we got into a disagreement recently about his rock bashers. The problem there was that the disagreement was completely in his head because all I did was post good things about his product. I guess he was still so upset over the previous incident that he couldn't see what was plainly in front of him.

 

so Brodie did the right thing....

good for him....

I myself have butted heads with him over something stupid.... but... we worked it out... I was wrong... he was wrong... and both of us were right....

I do feel that Brodie would have taken that part (whatever it was) off of his own truck to make a customer happy... but since he ate the cost... he was at a loss at the end of the day... he's not retiring next week in a mansion with the profits he makes off of helping us....

 

Sorry to hear about what happened with Ridge Demon. I have bought numerous items from him for my H3T and pretty much buy all my mods and parts for my T from him and have never had a bad experience or received any incomplete items or parts - if anything, he is known to send you extra stuff, just to keep you happy. In the end, it sounds like he came through for you and there may have been other things going on at that time that may not have had anything to do with you. Everyone has has a bad day every now & then. He really is a nice guy & will go out of his way for you - maybe it was your bluntness but I wouldn't know.

 

I agree 100% he did do the right thing. I also know that it must have taken some solid effort to get the correct part. I don't know if he had to pay for the part or not but at the very least he had to pay shipping again to get it to me. I understand 100% that he is not not making money hand over fist like the obomaites would have you believe all small business owners are. That is why I apologized for my somewhat harsh yet valid comments and thanked him. I also informed him that since he made it right that I would have no problem buying from him in the future or recommending him/his products again. I guess he didn't feel that was satisfactory so I guess in a way he has fired me as a customer. For the record he has yet to apologize or accept any responsibility for the events that that have transpired between he and I.

Up until the recent update on CHO I had our entire conversation saved because I had a feeling something like this might come up. I believe in openness and integrity.

That's cool... I had a seller screw me on ebay... with a similar situation... he posted a picture of an item he is selling dozens of... but it didn't show, or come with 2 parts that are 100% needed... it would work on my wife's h2.... but was an upgrade on mine...

it was worthless... ebay sided with him because he used a picture of the item... he's selling an item that someone removed pieces of... and dumped it cheap.... but advertised it as new, never installed...

he was a sneaky douchebag... and made no effort to make the deal right....

 

That sux. Sorry that happened to you and ebay didn't stand behind you.

While I believe in giving credit where credit is due I still have seen no honor in any of his actions/comments towards me since that date. Just the fact that he would bring this event up in an effort to bring me down while lifting himself up is shameful in my eyes. Even though All I have ever done is try to help his business by promoting his products and purchasing them. I had previously intentionally left all of this out of public conversation so as not to hurt his business in any way.

 

Get off your high horse already. Brodie went out of his way to make sure you got what you needed and in the end did the right thing. He also probally paid for the part andhe paid for shipping and I am sure he lost on that deal. I will personally drive to MI and punch Brodie in the face if he apologies to you. Grow up and you say Gunner and Alrock know the truth..Haha
