How To Remove Antenna Base/Cap Cover

I just ordered a new chrome cover for the antenna base. Can anyone explain to me how to remove the factory one correctly and put on the new chrome on? Here is the link to the one I bought: http://amzn.com/B000N54BF2

Nothing to remove,just sticks on over black one, double sided tape.
